Nobody can answer without a month of work. The spend was approved in pieces and never brought together into one model.
That cost is the people who build and run the product. Leave them out and the product P&L is wrong, and your controller knows it.
Its recharge is the share of technology cost billed back to it. You should be able to show where that number came from without rebuilding a spreadsheet over the weekend.
Is the spend recoverable? Which legal entity does it sit in? What rate applies between group companies? None of that is on the invoice.
A technology number that finance cannot tie out is still just an opinion.
| Challenge | Why it matters to finance |
|---|---|
| IFRS 17, VAT and transfer pricing | Tax and statutory reporting that holds up under audit. |
| Unit economics and cost to serve | Product and customer margins that include the full technology cost. |
| Showback, chargeback and the Bill of IT | A charge finance can post: itemized, reconciled and traceable. |
| AI and agent economics | The cost and return of each AI program, ready for when the board asks.. |
| Capability | What it gives you |
|---|---|
| Enterprise Allocation Modeling | Allocate any cost the way your business actually runs, by legal entity, tax status or contract group, with built-in rate cards for markup, discounts and fixed rates. Every allocation is fully traceable. |
| Budgeting and Forecasting | Plan and forecast on the same model as your actuals, so budget and spend always compare like for like. Results come back in the format finance already reports in. |
| IT Financial Management | Your full technology cost base, starting from the general ledger and posting journals straight back into it. The numbers in the model are the numbers you report. |
Less processing and reconciliation time while establishing IFRS 17 compliant reporting with traceable, defensible allocations.
