International CEO Of MagicOrange
“I am very excited to join MagicOrange to champion its global growth at this stage of its evolution,” says David, who will be based at the company’s new London office. “The company is well funded and in a great position for global growth. MagicOrange is a differentiated, cloud native, cost-effective platform, successfully implemented in a number of multinational corporations across many industry sectors.”
There is growing demand for IT Financial Management (ITFM) tools, which when properly scoped and implemented, provide not only financial transparency, but also significant insight and business value. MagicOrange is pleased to be recognized as an established IT Financial Management offering in Gartner’s latest Market Guide published in March 2021.
“We are delighted that an expert of David’s caliber has agreed to fill this new position,” says Greg Guye, Group CEO at MagicOrange. “His intimate knowledge of the industry, together with his energy, will accelerate our ambition to penetrate the international market with our cost transparency solution.”
David’s appointment reunites him with Greg and MagicOrange COO, Matthew Mottram. The three first worked together in the early 2000’s at Credit Suisse, where Harding led the bank’s first global technology cost transparency initiative.
“I had no hesitation in joining MagicOrange and regrouping with Greg and Matt,” notes David. “Their combination of financial knowledge and technical skills was a rare find when we first worked together and now, almost 20 years on, I am delighted to join their team.”
David has significant experience of business transformation and expense management in a global business. He has developed and drives a strong culture of accountability within the business, delivering value through cost transparency, including active benchmarking by product and industry sector.
David Harding is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He also holds a certificate in Digital Innovation for Finance and a BA (Honours) in Modern Languages from the University of Southampton.
